The Erté Mae studio and the homes of Terry and Angie are situated in the lush Dandenong Ranges of Victoria. Crowned by Mt Dandenong (at 633 metres elevation) the ranges are the result of a 300-million year old volcanic eruption that centred near the township of Olinda.

The names Corhanwarrabul and Koran’Warnambul are both used to describe the ranges. These names are from the Woiwurrung language of the Wurundjeri people and the Bunurong language of the Bunurong people, the traditional owners of this land on which we live and work.

We respectfully recognise Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islanders as Australia’s First Peoples and one of the worlds oldest continuing cultures. We recognise the truth that sovereignty has never been ceded and acknowledge the ongoing impacts of colonisation.

We are humbled and grateful to live and work in this beautiful landscape that we share and must protect for future generations.
